Educational handheld system from VTech. Console is medium sized with large buttons so small hands can use it effectively, pretty sturdy as to survive being dropped. Graphics seem to be about 16-bit quality. Games are the same games that work on the VSmile console system, and are the of the educational type starring various cartoon characters such as Scooby Doo, Disney characters, Superman, etc.

Console tends to eat through batteries very quickly. On the plus side the unit can also be hooked up to a TV eliminating the need to buy the console system, and also has headphone jacks for those long car trips. Available for around 80$ at most major retail stores.
