In the pic above the front portion of the casing has been removed.
A Sharp X-1 computer with PC Engine built in, the same concept as say the Teradrive. Whole thing came as a set, with matching console, keyboard, and monitor. Sharp is known for taking videogame systems and combining them with other electronics, and have made Super Famicom televisions, Famicom televisions, and the Famicom tilter. This particular console was released in 1989 as the last of Sharp's X series of computers. The user is able to toggle between the PC Engine and X-1 computer functionality but can't have them both on at the same time.
