HAMINEX HMG 7900

1292 clone made by Haminex for the UK market (others made by Soundic, Rollet, etc.) It took a little while for the more powerful American game systems to reach Europe, which gave small time companies a chance to sell thier cheaper, crappier consoles.

Machine is pretty small (32 X 18 X 7 cm). System came with one controller, and there was a port for a second controller on the side, although all the games are one player only. Controller has two fire buttons and fits into the casing under the cart slot.

Games for these machines are pretty primitive, they're usually low grade clones of arcade classics (ala Pac-Man, Space Indavers, etc) and sound is of the "bleep bleep" variety. As soon as more advanced consoles from America made thier debut in Europe these things disappeared.
