DISCover system from Alienware released May 2004.
Anyway, this system has all the usual stuff that a Discover system has, and in addition DVD capabilities and an "On Demand" like service where you can download/watch movies and music (ala pay-per-view.)
Uses Windows XP Media Center Edition as OS and the Hard drive has 250 gigs of storage as standard (which no doubt could be upgraded later on.) Two models have been announced, the DHS 301 and DHS 311 (one of which will no doubt have more features than the other.) Will have some cool features in addition to playing PC games on a big screen, like letting you use normal media files as well as recording video from your TV.
Sounds cool but with a $1000 + price tag may stay out of the average gamer's budget.
