Famicom clone in a Megadrive case, even says "16-bit" across the front. But it's a Famiclone, the Zapper and size of the cartridge slot are dead giveaways. Usually Famiclones aren't this blatant, mostly they vary up the colors or something. I assume MD I stands for "Megadrive 1."
