Well, well, well, it appears we have here a clone of the Sega Multimega . Don't know very much about this system, it appears to be a licenced Multimega console for education purposes. Linguaphone is a respectable compnay that sells language training courses and equipment.

You can get these on Yahoo autions Japan for 100,000 yen (!)

Not much is known about any alterations to the internals, or compatiblility with Sega games. More info is needed.
