CREATAVISION

V-Tech is an educational toy company that makes electronic learning gadgets, like speak and spells, Simon type electronic games, and is still around today (they have a whole series of Children's laptop-type things.) There was a fad in the early 80's before PCs that a game system could double as a computer. Thus lots of companies like Mattel, APF, Coleco, etc. all released consoles or add-ons that turned a console into a computer. This thing came out of the far east and originally was sold as a game system, but the thing was when you put the controllers together in the console it made a makeshift keyboard. After the crash in 1984, Vtech rebranded this machine the "Laser 500," in order to make it fit in with it's Laser line of computers. Thus there are a lot of games under the Laser 500 label which are compatible with this machine. Lot's of other add-ons were produced as you can see.

Games are of Colecovison quality, although not as good. System was compatible via adapter with Colecovision games, MSX games, and to some extend even SMS games. There are pics of prototype Atari 2600 adapter as well, although this was probably not released. Has at least 8 of it's own games available somewhere. Was called the Funvision in Japan and Dick Wizard Smith in Australia
