Bally (publisher of Namco's Pac-Man in the U.S.A., as well as other classic arcade titles) made this thing in 1979. System looks pretty retro with a Tomorrowland kind of 60's futuristic look. Games are on par with the 2600. Although Bally held the rights to many cool classic arcade games dude to Atari's exclusive licensing agreements they had to publish knock-offs on their own machine (sometimes of their own games!) Was sold mostly at computer stores and didn't get much market penetration. Later on a computer expansion module was planned (as was popular at the time) but later dropped. Strange pistol-like controllers. I was going to get one of these but lost the auction. System didn't do too well for obvious reasons. Was later bought by a company called Astrovision and re-released as the "Astrocade," who also eventually released the Astrocade with the computer module built-in as the Zgrass 32.
Bally systems aren't too rare but still command an over $100 price on Ebay depending on quality of system, box, and amount of games included
